BLCK SFTWR - Mechanical Forms (Zadok Remix)

Leaping into the dimmest waters of the metaphysical, BLCK SFTWR (Black Software) creeps from the convolutions and contortions of a dark cosmos, starting with ‘Grandbend Departure,’ an overture that seems to come from the rupture of a cabalistic monolith in the middle of Mexico’s southern jungles. The soundscape fantasizes on its own, like a slumbering and dreaming God, that goes into a reverie so deep, that it creates waves that cross wood and mountain until it reaches your ears, no matter where you are.

Lounge into idleness, pertain to everything calmness and sunken waters mean, derive from a reality to another with ‘Early Reflections.’ It is not easy to innovate a genre, but this EP sure does it, bringing an energetical imaginativeness to Dub Techno. Manuel Panuelas breaks the foundation to build it anew with his gripping revolving beats
Followed by this beast of track comes ‘Refraction’ and as the name says it, the soundscape echoes against the backdrop of your consciousness. Sometimes its hard to grasp what this song drives you through, which brings an innate feeling that makes you dance in alliance with its soul-deconstructing bass.

Finally, we arrive to the eponymous ‘Mechanical Forms,’ a song that cements what the names of all these tracks mean: movement, natural fluctuations, echoes, light duplications, shadows and contemplations of the impressions of the arcane nature the mind of the producer tried to assimilate whilst he concocted this masterpiece. It is all about what the creative mind took and synthetized, which is what electronic music is about.

This could not end in any other way than with a remix work by Zadok, another Mexican producer that comes straight from the wild south, to pour twilight & murk over the nominative ‘Mechanical Forms.’

This EP marks the fourth release and first EP of TLILTIC Records, a Mexican Record Label & Promotion Agency from Chiapas, the southernmost state of the Republic. An imprint that wants to desegregate and deconstruct the Mexican electronic music scene.
