    Carl Waller might be a relative newcomer to production, but in the short space of four releases, he has already carved out a sound that is part deep house, part minimal but 100%% effective for DJs. The hooky-as-hell basslines on tracks like "Bad For Me" and "Complicated" make it easy to see why DJs have taken him out of Beatport's Hype chart and into the main genre charts. His debut for GU combines our two favourite things, a sticky vocal hook and a killer bassline; "I Like What You Like" is the kind of simple-but-effective jam that will be stuck in your head (and your USB) for months.
