"Drowning In The Shallows" is the first single off Choice’s part 2 of the “Elements" trilogy series. The song was created like most songs by Choice - a melodious riff sparking a moment of reflection, then a wave of catharsis. “Drowning” steers away from Choice’s EDM style that earned him international notoriety, laying heavy into hip-hop rhythms and melancholic lyrics. A running guitar riff swirls around a kick and snare as Choice steps in to share with you his deepest thoughts and feelings.
