    The prolific Fabiolous Barker gets his eager little re-edit mitts on a further 16 vintage cuts as he serves up the 99th EP in the long-running 'Katakana Edits' series. Among the tracks getting the treatment this time around are Prince & The New Power Generation's 'Push', Chris Rea's 'Josephine', The Michael Zager Band's 'Let's All Chant' and Perucho Conde's 'La Cotorra', an evergreen Latin funk nugget from 1980 that was penned as a Venezuelan "answer" to Sugarhill Gang's 'Rapper's Delight'. Some fairly obvious choices there, but the rest of the EP draws on more obscure disco/funk/boogie sources, so dive on in and enjoy!
