    The Dark Ages Mixtape was recorded between the years of 1999 and 2002 with the Gnostix coming
    together as a group of friends in the local area. Through the love of production, Semantix Tha Sorcera started to record lyrics in his home studio before taking his productions to the local media centre where the group was formed. Progression was on the cards as the group began to pick up new tools in regard to productions jumping from DJX Keyboard to MPC and further producers joining the fold including Raze Brooks, Illuziv, Third Degree and 2nd Suzpect.

    The Gnostix are made up of Semantix, Ryall, Biggaman, ReggiiMental, Profit and Third Degree with each individual bringing something unique to the table.
    The Gnostix were proud to be one of the original acts from the midlands who were happy to embrace their accent and avoid the 'Americanisation' of Hip Hop culture. A Raw, rugged and honest account that popped out just before the information age took us all away. Splattahouse Productionz
