June 21st 2020 highlights MoreHouse Records (MoHo) 18th Anniversary. Its founders Groove Junkies' Evan Landes and songstress extraordinaire Solara stamp the occasion with the release of their much anticipated single titled "I AM." This time around the two have elicited the services of the extremely gifted Will 'Reelsoul' Rodriquez & Munk Julious who have both added their deft touch to the project. The fellas were also part of the aggregate of artists who blessed MoHo earlier in the year with two No. 1 Hits on Traxsource (Groove Junkies & Reelsoul "You Can't Hide feat. Tertulien Thomas and the Sean Ali & Munk Julious Remix of "Harvest For The World" feat. Nichelle Monroe). The package comes complete with a variety of mixes for varied tastes. The 'Groove Junkies, Reelsoul & Munk Julious Main Mix' is an uplifting Afro-tinged workout with a heavy dose of soul! For those who like things raw...the 'Bass & Drum Vox' strips things down to Solara's sultry vocals, bass and beats. A handy Instrumental and Bonus Beats round things out.

The release of "I AM" comes at a time in our history when we're all feelin' a little vulnerable and can use a pick me up. Many of us are just coming out of our respective cocoon's wondering what our new life and the world will look like as global economies try to bounce back from a global pandemic. If that isn't enough we ALL witnessed another senseless murder of a black man at the hands of white police officers. We've reached a tipping point in our society which have brought massive protests against police brutality and systemic racism. "I AM" won't cure Covid 19, eradicate abuse of power by police, or end racism, but it will offer a roadmap to self confidence, awareness and healing - something that we all could use right about now.

"I AM" is a message of empowerment to all. As a young girl I never thought I was enough. My lips were big, my skin was brown, I had issues with me. Evan my rock, nurtured me & our words to bring I AM to fruition. It's a coming into realization that you are enough & you have the power within to love yourself like you've never loved before. It is my hope in this moment these words resonate, allow you to stand in your power, & ultimately be who you are meant to be! I AM...
