    Last year Sonic Soul Orchestra teamed up with Aussie Disco Lord Dr Packer, for their funk fuelled recreation of the D Train classic ‘You’re The One For Me’ that featured the vocals of the late great Colonel Abrams. Their tasteful reinvention went on to top the main chart on Traxsource as well as the Soul/Funk/Disco chart.

    Sonic Soul Orchestra delivers his next single on Tinted records, reimagining the disco anthem ‘Touch Me’ (All Night Long), first made famous by Fonda Rae in 1984, which for those playing at home was written and produced by the disco producer legend Patrik Adams.

    Perhaps it’s not the Fonda Rae version you know, but instead the Cathy Dennis hit version from 1991 that launched Cathy’s solo career off the back of being a part of D Mob for many years before that.

    On vocals for this brand new update is one of House music's most respected names and voices, Kathy Brown. Some of the biggest house records of the past few decades have had Kathy’s voice included on them - Soul Central ‘Strings of Life (Stronger on My Own)’ + Sol Brothers ‘Turn Me Out’ are just two of the anthems that most would know Kathy for.
