Laverty's new EP, Energy, was inspired by the spiritual awakening that inspired change and healing within her life. Each song tells a story from Laverty's journey. The song, "Daughter" was written about her difficult upbringing and the toxicity within her childhood home. "Voices in My Head" was written to explain the chaos and sadness that occur in the brain of someone struggling with mental illness. "Paradoxical Reaction" was written about her struggle with co-dependency and a past toxic relationship. "Energy" was written and inspired by Laverty's healing and new journey in life. Laverty's debut EP will be one to remember.
