Mercedes has chartered a path all on her own while keeping true to her unique style from New York City, her music ranges from acoustic pop fare, bathed in R&B and blues. Mercedes turned to music as a young child to combat the anxieties from her mother passing. At the age of 12 Mercedes musical roots were born when she started composing songs. Mercedes has amassed a fan through her raw, edgy and storytelling way of songwriting pushing the lyrical envelope evoking her thoughts on love, heartbreak, sex and chilling truths behind trying to make it in the music industry.
Mercedes released her first Single, through Kings Republic Enterprises titled String Me along, she is a Woman on a mission set to bring back feel good music, reminiscent of the era that inspired her and helped her get through the dark times. 
Mercedes have great notoriety on social media in part thanks to her raw emotional connection with her fans. Her fan base are called “Kings Republic ” and are constantly following her daily habits on social media. she is working to release more singles to showcase her diversity and range.  


My songs are very much reflective of my mood. Unfortunately, I am an emotional Person and so my mood is constantly shifting. I write about what I desire, what I want and what I hope for. I’m a romantic girl but not the best at verbally expressing how I feel, so I do that through music.
Everyone wants to be in love. Everyone has gotten hurt in the past. In some way I feel that people want to be hurt so that they can relate, connect to something. My music is meant for them to connect with me on this emotional level.
I don’t have the magic formula. I’m trying to make it like everyone else. I now only write songs that I love. I’m growing up and discovering myself every day. I used to be ashamed of admitting that I have anxiety but I realized that trying to hide it only makes it worse. That is why I advocate for mental health and feel passionate about supporting initiatives that drive awareness for mental health.
I want to entertain people. I want to distract them from any negativity in their life and day dream with me. I want them to relate to me. I want people to use my music as emotional support.
When I write music, I don’t follow a structure. I just write what the fuck I’m feeling. Sometimes I’m in a dark sexual mood and sometimes I am in a romantic and sensual mood. My music is unapologetic, emotional, raw and honest
