GUARDIAN DEMON is a dark, emotional track where the main character opens up about his flaws and imperfections. The title says it all - he’s more of a demon than a saint, but still trying to protect the one he loves, even after he “flies high.”
I wrote it just a couple weeks before my breakup this spring, like I could feel it coming. The song’s heavy and moody, but there’s still a thread of hope in it, like maybe, somehow, things could still change.
