Leah
Valentino Guerriero
label: Ampispazi Recordings
Ampispazi Recordings return with another single for the summer, 'Leah', this time coming from former Nightchild Records's producer Valentino Guerriero, one of the label's most established talents.
Berlin-based Ampispazi Recordings has recently gained support from the likes of Butch, Maceo Plex, Timo Maas, Gel Abril just to name a few and enstablished its name internationally . After releasing the futuristic Ercos Blanka's album and the well received industrial - dub techno 'Dysphoria EP' by Redundant, label honcho Mik Santoro and his crew are now ready to present their 56th release, coming from one of their most trustworthy artists, Valentino Guerriero, who has previously released on Ospina Digital and Nightchild Records.
''Leah EP' comprises 2 original tracks from the producer and is followed by an original video created by Valentino himself, in order to express visually as well as musically, the profound and personal value that this single has for him.
The release opens with the title track, which follows an early 'Tale Of Us' style in the production and is deeper and more musical than the first one. The producer uses his talent to create a late night atmosphere with his dreamy pads and his unstoppable rhythmical loops, guided by a punchy techy bass-line, transforming the track into a proper club banger. The second track of the EP, 'The Fate', is a monstrous dance-floor killer cut, in which an amalgamation of uplifting synth melodies and rhythmical vocal' samples drop into a relentless raw House groove merged with a deep hooky bass-line for a track that reminds us a lot of Huxley or Dusky, but with Valentino's personal touch coming through very clear. Expect to hear this one out a lot this summer.
Valentino Guerriero's 'Leah EP' is due for digital release on the 30th of June 2014.
