Lower Manhattan is divided into many divers neighborhoods. Tribeca, aka Triangle Below Canal Street, is a former industrial area that converted into an artist-centric neighborhood in the 80’s. The artists squatted in abandoned lofts and factories where they could create with plenty of space. Tribeca is now inhabited by many celebrities and well known artists.
