“Right Now Is Where You Are is a song I wrote as a reminder to myself to stay in the moment and not think too far ahead. I’m really bad about getting caught up in the future and always planning things, especially when I’m on the road. I need to remind myself to just accept the moment I’m in and not let it pass by me.”
“This song is probably the best representation of our live sound compared to any of our other releases. We did a lot of panning and stacked guitar tracks to get this big, ethereal kind of wash, but it still basically sounds like three guys.”
“The song starts off more moody and edgy, but the middle part of the song feels kind of like a break through in a way. I’m trying to show the difference between when I'm feeling anxious for the future versus when I accept where I’m at right now and live in the present. The second half of the song feels like a big release."
