From undefined shapes a vast landscape emerges, then fades into noise.

Nothing will ever be silent again."
is written on one of these stones, partly erased by the harsh northern wind that once must have shattered this valley. Now, there is no wind at all. The deep forest lays perfectly still, not a single breeze dares to shake a leaf. Darkness is filling the space between trees, thick as black ink.
Yet, the flickering light of your oil lamp slowly crawls through the endless forest. Shadows panicly escape behind trunks when the flame bounces around, creating an uncontrolled choreography of movement in the darkness.
You look farther. There is a shimmering glance beyond the next row of trees.
Cold harsh moonlight shines onto a small glade. There, in a carpet of white silk, the floor is laden with a variety of flowers and plants, wildly spreading over the remains of a huge tree skeleton laying in the center. Tiny drops of dew on your robe reflect the bright light as you enter the glade.
This will be your home for tonight.
