Now making their Proportion debut, the duo showcase their "Interstellar Pulse / Night Clouds" EP. Hugely successful artists in their own their own rights, Dabeat & Kamilo Sanclemente have formed a prolific and fruitful creative partnership since a debut remix of Alfonso Muchacho's "Things Change" on Stellar Fountain in 2016. Since then, the Colombian duo have seen their original work feature on the likes of Timeless Moment, Perfecto Black, Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music and D-Nox's Sprout. A partnership that commands respect and support from a global fraternity of fans and peers alike, Dabeat and Kamilo Sanclemente now join forces once more with a pair of original offerings on Dmitry Molosh's ever-impressive label. "Interstellar Pulse" quickly gathers pace with its pounding kick and complex rhythmic arrangement. Evolving easily through its club-friendly character, a sub-bassline syncopates tightly against the grooved backdrop before a series of light and airy melodic phrases complement each other. Cascading and entwined with interlocking threads, they juxtapose against the weight of the bass and kick. An additional series of components arrive at the breakdown courtesy of new sustained bassline and cadenced synth motif before hitting its stride once more in the third movement to devastating dancefloor effect. Following the rhythmic narrative of its partner track, "Night Clouds" is infused with a sultry bass presence, rolling groove and shaker-infused top-line. Developing with consummate ease and intimate dancefloor knowhow, a central melody shines brightly through a meticulously assembled cast of sonic characters as it coruscates gently through the early stages in shimmering delays. Finding new direction after a pause for breath at the spine-tingling mid-section, a popping, cadenced synth line opens up post-breakdown to create a new focus in the second half before the familiar motif returns to glorious open-filtered effect in the final stages. A pair of new tracks find Dabeat and Kamilo Sanclemente as a central star in the progressive house firmament with "Interstellar Pulse / Night Clouds".
