Milan-based artist Gavril has been building up an eclectic back catalogue of melodic to bass-driven house cuts on
top labels from Tube & Berger’s ZEHN to LW Recordings. Following his 2023 ‘Night In Buenos Aires’ single, which garnered support from the likes of Sasha and Ida Engberg, Gavril returns on Adesso Music, this time collaborating with label head honcho Junior Jack on ‘Ritual’.
The chunky ‘Ritual’ is proper, big room bothering house. Roughed-up drums and sharp hi-hats set the pace before a moody female vocal drips with attitude over classic chords.
