ifandonlyif is a music project born in Phoenix, Arizona from creators Benjamin Soto and Sean Wells-Rutherford. 'Dark Dirt' marks the culmination of nearly six years of songwriting, sound experimentalism, and engineering toward a cohesive and distinct form within nebulous genre distinctions and tropes composing electronic and post-industrial music. While the album delivers a polished and newly solidified style, it is not without a genuine and vicious emotional outburst that inevitably comes from a group who looks at contemporary society with a critical eye.
