It is so risky to try and pin down the elements that have shaped Lizh’s music. Just when you think you can discern her influences, she’ll do something musically unexpected: a blast of rock guitar, a passage that’s like hip-hop poetry, a Latin tinge. She keeps on surprising you, showing off some serious dance moves one moment, then moving over to the keyboard for something more soulful, but no less compelling.
