Whiskey Night is a song about a love that is made difficult to sustain due to uncontrollable circumstances. A love that is pulled through several adversities but always seems to remain when the dust is settled. A “Whiskey Night” represents the passionate flame in a relationship, where all you could ask for is a bottle of whiskey and each other as company. In a way, writing this song was my way of making peace with my relationship becoming long distance, and in turn becoming a bit more complicated. We sometimes long for the times when things were simpler, and we could just have a whiskey night.
