MEGA PIXEL is the product of a year's worth of collaborative work between Ohio-based artists BJSR and Dave Zup. Their debut EP "Closer" was released on October 16th, 2016. A fluid 4-track EP of new pop songs, "Closer" combines lyrical topics of social injustice, love and self-empowerment over lush arrangements and enveloping production. This (barely) 13 minute musical magnifying glass puts the listener in a distant groove, even if just for a moment, and reminds them of how powerful a good song can be for your soul. The EP was produced, recorded, mixed, and mastered entirely by the three musicians independently in Dayton, OH, and exists without major label funding or promotion. MEGA PIXEL is a collaborative effort to provoke “thought music" for the masses.

This release features the original 4 songs, as well as the instrumental versions of each track.
