The Mexican union between N-telekia & Fhaken gives us as result our next two track EP entitled ‘Fly Away’. In one corner, Raul Figueroa better known as Fhaken has been releasing constantly muscular Tech House via the likes of Glasgow Underground, Ola Rec or NoExcuse Records. On the other coming and hailing from Ciudad de Mexico too, Victor Aguirre also known as N-telekia dropped his signature minimal-tech sound on Habitat, Datagroove, 1994 music. Regarding to their Roush debut, opener ‘Fly Away’ is full of dynamic percussion and that kind of techy drums plus the rumbling bass set a phrenetic rhythm since the very first beats of the track. A diva vocal refreshes breakdowns before the drop. Next up, ‘Depart’ closes brilliantly the EP showing previous formula with a more prominent and actual arpeggiated bass. An indistinguishable vocal is added on breakdowns giving a nice tension.
