Practice is the solo project of Michael Tapper, an accomplished drummer and indie rock lifer who's been behind the kit in acts like We Are Scientists, Fool's Gold, and Yellow Ostrich. Abandoning the drums and embracing analog synthesizers and drum machines, Practice combines lush synth work with infectious beats and off kilter pop song-craft to create what's been referred to as mood music for a dance party.

Sleep In My Clothes is the first release from Practice and is a b-side from the sessions for upcoming debut full length album Not A Game. The oldest song written for the project, it incorporates many elements from the album at large: deep grooves, lush synths, melodic vocals, and unexpected turns. Lyrically, it leaves the listener unsure whether to laugh or cry, touching on themes of nostalgia, depression, love, and regret.
