Psyphoria

Formed in 2005 by Don De Valle to be a cutting edge live DJ based performer and producer act, Psyphoria has always been a very powerful and tricked out act, rocking dance floors with a modern and cutting edge variation of Full-On Psychedelic Trance. Through his years as a performer he has been honoured to represent numerous of the top labels of the era, from Swiss based Fractal Records, Spanish label Dropland Recordings, Japanese based Terror Lab Industries and Diss Master Records to Mexican night label Lysergic Records showing and cementing his diversity over his tenure as a representative DJ and performing artist.

Constantly looking for opportunities to grow the industry and his brand of Kaotic night music, in 2015 Don stepped into a new managing role at South Africa’s Kaos Krew Records and in 2018 became a partner, growing his influence within the well-established label releasing his must have debut compilation, Augmented Invasion, in 2017, peaking in the Top 30 in the Beatport Psy Trance charts. In 2020 he released a brand new collaboration project Kaos Theory with his label partner at Kaos Krew Records, to critical acclaim, with the EP breaking into the Top 10 on the Beatport Psy Trance charts.

After 15 years of experience as a top flight touring performer and DJ, one can describe this EP as the culmination of many facets of his work and vision over the years. On one hand the end of an era, as he settles into his role as managing partner at Kaos Krew Records, a new collaborative act and the beginning of a new solo direction as a producer and creative as he jumps into the void exploring a new facet of his story telling through music. Never a stranger to learning, he has taken some of his new found skills from his recent South African tour in 2019, and in only a few short months written an incredible EP that is set to launch this new part of his career to new heights… Expect nothing but FULL POWER!!!
