Quark Matter

We are proud to present a magnificent downtempo, relaxing EP from Quark Matter called Back On Mars! Quark Matter is a Latvian psytrance project by Sergey Boytsov.
Sergey was born in Moscow and grew up with passion for music-making. In 1998 got involved in psytrance music production and the next 3 years performed live at underground parties in Russia.
In 1999 Sergey with his friends founded his own promo group and organized few forest open-air and club parties, together they took part in the formation of Moscow's psytrance culture.
In 2012 he moved to Latvia and got filled up with the inspiration of Baltic nature. And after the long creative break came back to music production with a brand new project. During last year with great success and positive feedback Quark Matter participated in several indoor and outdoor events, including Solar Systo and BK festivals. Sergey produces trance music in perfectly balanced digital and analog hardware instrument sound with a pinch of collaborations with instrumental and vocal artists.
In every Quark Matter's performance, there's an infinite movement between light harmonious and dark forest vibes. Live set full of explosive combinations and groove excites and charges with dancing energy, remaining in memory for a long time.
