From the deep spheres of the psychedelic underground, Maykurnaddur Records brings you Rubuscubus "BIOLUMINOUS", his first fresh release. This cascading diamond unfolds an eerie pulling effect with its nine songs and leads you through light and dark territories of the psychedelic universe. On this journey, delusional extra-galactic voices, driving basslines and bubbling noises from another dimension can be heard.

The galactic journey starts with the track "Leekshaka", which is convincing by an interstellar melange of extraterrestrial vocals paired with partly friendly psychedelic sounds and a straight bassline. With "Kahaaniyon" Rubuscubus continues the trip, but here a playful bassline and weird noises are in the foreground. With "Peculiar" Rubuscubus presents his minimalist side of the project without getting bored. With "Straight forward" the name says it all and knows how to convince more with its sound design than with complex arrangements. The ride gets a little wilder with "Weak Localization", "Aural Symbiosis" and "Collimated Bearn" because the tracks combine a grooving rhythm with shipped acid sounds and a powerful kickdrum. The two tracks "Luminous" and "Mumble Jumble" are the final two tracks, which present a darker side of the project. In both tracks creaky acid sounds meet pumping basslines and a sophisticated sound design from another world.
