Canada-US border-crossing duo Salvors follow up on last year’s Salvors EP, featured on Exclaim.ca and the Montreal Gazette, with new EP Playing House. It features four catchy alt pop gems, from marching band-tinged strut of the title track to the dancefloor flavour of “Turn Yourself Up”.
Composed of Montreal one-man-show Half-truth and Grand Rapids one-woman-show London & Rome, the duo co-wrote all four tracks together and split lead vocals equally. Released late October, the Playing House EP is their last release as Salvors before they both relocate to Los Angeles January 2017.
Half-truth has been featured in XLR8R magazine, has remixed countless artists & has played MUTEK Montreal, Piknic Electronik, Igloofest, Paris Techno Parade and more. London & Rome is a fixture of the Michigan live music scene as a member of the band The Muteflutes and her debut solo album “Could Have Been” was released earlier in 2016.
