Argentinian tech-house heavyweights Sanchez & Narvaez are back on Roush after their amazing ‘Just A Bit’ cut released in our infamous ‘Can You Feel It’ compilation. Now they strike back with a three track ‘Underground Artist’ EP. The duo is gaining adepts with a fresh sound where we clearly can feel their early 80s and 90s Chicago house roots. That kind of sound is having a great support from big cool names such as Flashmob, Hot Since 82 or Max Chapman. Regarding to their Roush extended debut, title cut ‘Underground Artist’ opens with a fierce 909 kick drum and a detuned chord offering a nice question and answer as the track goes evolving. Nice sci-fi foley effects are added to maintain a burning dance-floor. Next up, following the astral vibes ‘Back To Way We Started’ has a similar structure as the previous cut, having as main ingredients shuffled hats and a pumping bass line. As third track, ‘Da Bass’ closes the EP with a groovy FM percussion pattern that set a perfect minimal mood with the sharp hats and swinged elements.
