In 2015, American producer Kevin Brauer exploded on the international electronic music scene with his newly launched artist project Sevenn. His debut release, Colors of the Rainbow, was an instant hit and was followed up by a huge collaboration with Alok (BYOB) which gained tens of millions of streams virtually overnight. But it was to be his next single BOOM – alongside international megastars Tiesto and Gucci Mane – that would propel the US artist to instant global notoriety. With over 700 million streams to date across all platforms, Sevenn has since become a regular at some of the world's most celebrated festivals (Tomorrowland, Lollapalooza, and Creamfields to name a few), and looks set to reach the highest levels of global success, with critically acclaimed solo releases on the likes of Believe, Armada and Spinnin' amongst others.
Now, as Sevenn looks to make an indelible mark on 2023, we're beyond excited to be bringing the US talent to Selected. for his eagerly anticipated label debut, with Heart Back. Teaming up with legendary UK-based singer songwriter and Selected favourite Jem Cooke — who has won over the hearts and minds of the electronic music world following global superhits Breathe (w. Camelphat & Cristophe), My Carousel (with Tobtok) and Swimmers (with Zero 7) — the resulting collaboration is a truly beautiful vocal house cut that locks you in from the very first beat.
