Mirror Ball Recordings open the new year with a fresh reimagining of Cheat Code, presenting a new remix package from highly skilled producer N.W.N.. Originally conceived as a celebration of finding that rare connection that makes life feel lighter and more rewarding, Cheat Code paired the deep, emotive production of long-time Mirror Ball artist Shannon Chambers with the thoughtful lyricism of UK wordsmith Fabien Myles. The result was a soulful house cut rooted in feeling, groove, and sincerity. On this follow-up release, N.W.N. — coming off an exceptional 2025 and recently ranked 4th in Traxsources Top Artists of 2025 — delivers a beautiful deep and soulful remix that respectfully expands the life of the original while bringing a fresh perspective for DJs and listeners alike. Chicago-based DJ and producer Shannon Chambers is known for his deep, bottom-heavy grooves and soulful house sensibility. Drawing inspiration from pioneers such as Frankie Knuckles, Farley Jackmaster Funk, and Steve Silk Hurley, his productions balance classic house foundations with a modern, evolving sound that works just as well on headphones as it does on the dance floor. Fabien Myles is a versatile UK musician and lyricist whose work is defined by creative range and cultural curiosity. He first gained wider attention with his appearance on A-whirls Divine, which incorporated elements of Japanese Gagaku music, and has since released singles such as Concrete Jungle alongside collaborations including Ride and Rise with decombr, Flava with Matis, and London Town with N-Seven. With the N.W.N. Remixes, Cheat Code enters a new chapter, staying true to its soulful foundations while continuing its journey on Mirror Ball Recordings.
