This is a special song where my percussionist friend Rene recorded distorted djembe sounds and being inspired by Indie dance, French electro and slower big room tracks, I made a track where baselines are distorted djembe sounds with effects.
The origin of this idea come from time where my friend use to put Skype microphone into djembe and to his surprise the distorted signal sounded quite nice. Therefore, he called it the techno djembe.
