With Dat Haus, William Deep makes his debut on the Crazy Nutz Music catalogue under reference NUTZ040, delivering a Tech House EP conceived from a purely clubbing perspective. The release brings together two tracks designed as DJ tools, prioritizing groove, rhythmic continuity and full control of dancefloor energy. Rather than focusing on complex melodic development, the EP relies on a solid and functional structure aligned with the demands of contemporary club-oriented Tech House. “Dat Haus (Original Mix)” is produced at 130 BPM in E minor, unfolding a raw, direct and highly effective groove. The bassline acts as the main driving force of the track, deep and stable, reinforcing a constant sense of forward movement. A dry and punchy kick ensures presence and impact on large sound systems, while percussion remains active throughout most of the arrangement, creating an uninterrupted rhythmic flow. Hi-hats, snares and electronic drums are continuously present, shaping a driving and propulsive character. The male vocal, treated in a fragmented and repetitive manner, functions as an additional rhythmic element. Phrases such as “what what what what what that?” or mechanical repetitions of spoken fragments are used as vocal loops, enhancing the hypnotic nature of the track. The inclusion of claps and performative vocal snippets adds a collective feeling, evoking club ritual without shifting focus away from the groove.
“SMOOZ (Original Mix)” offers a complementary side of the EP, embracing a smoother and more elegant construction. The bassline is round and flexible, maintaining constant pressure that pushes the dancefloor progressively. Percussion and electronic drums remain active from start to finish, generating an organic and fluid movement ideal for extended club sets. The vocal plays a central role in defining the track’s identity. Repetitive phrases such as “always gotta get a feeling” or “big wheels, overhyped” operate as rhythmic mantras, transmitting a confident, relaxed and self-assured attitude. The vocal integrates seamlessly into the groove, reinforcing flow without taking melodic dominance.
German producer based in Spain, William Deep has built a solid trajectory within Tech House and Minimal Deep Tech, releasing music on labels such as Roush Label, RIM, Baikonur Recordings, MUSE and Happy Techno Music. He has received support from artists including Hector Couto, Dennis Cruz, The Martinez Brothers and James Hype, and performed at venues and events such as Dream Beach Afterparty, Berlin Music Club and Venom Music Club. Dat Haus strengthens his club-focused identity and reinforces Crazy Nutz Music’s commitment to groove-driven functionality.
