Gianni Cuomo is the man behind WEIRD. a fresh project which is gaining adepts day by day. With interesting releases in TBX Records, Whoyostro or Moan, the Neapolitan DJ & producer is playing well his cards and in few months has put his name into the Minimal/Deep-Tech scene. Regarding to his Roush debut, WEIRD. made a couple of actual up-tempo bangers. Opener ‘Oddish’ set a phrenetic rhythm since the very first beats provided by slippery hats and a bubbling perc. Next up, tittle cut ‘Scylla’ is a rhythmic cut with raw drums and a rumbling bassline that reminds the old-school Chicago sound. Cool chords are added to provide a more musical approach than the previous track.
